Bromhexine HCL is mainly used for acute and chronic bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis and emphysema, especially for patients with difficulty in coughing up white mucous sputum and for critical emergencies caused by extensive sputum obstruction of small bronchi. 

Bromhexine HCL Powder preparations are available in oral tablets, solution, aerosol, injection, lyophilized powder injection, infusion and other dosage forms.

Application/Function of Bromhexine Hydrochloride Powder.

Bromhexine Hydrochloride Powder is a novel mucous soluble expectorant to be synthesized by the system of bromhexine hydrochloride powder according to the structure of the active ingredient (muscozine hydrochloride) in the medicinal plant anthracis; it is suitable to dissolve mucous phlegm strongly. It can make mucosaccharide fiber differentiation and cracking in sputum, also can inhibit the synthesis of mucosaccharide, reduce the content of sialic acid (one of the components of acid mucosaccharide) in sputum, thus reducing the viscosity of sputum. After oral administration, there is an unpleasant expectorant effect, so that sputum is easy to cough up, so that the respiratory tract is smooth.

Bromhexine Hydrochloride Powder is used clinically for the treatment of acute and chronic bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis, and emphysema, especially for patients with difficulty in coughing up white mucous sputum, and for shortness of breath caused by extensive obstruction of small bronchus by sputum. 

Adverse reactions: Occasional nausea and stomach discomfort after taking this product, which can disappear after reduction or withdrawal. A few patients had temporary elevation of serum transaminase. It should be used with caution in patients with gastric ulcer. This product has very little toxicity.

Pharmacological effect of Bromhexine HCL Powder
