Product Method of Bulk Hesperidin Powder.
The product is contained in the peel of lemon, citrus, daiyaflower and so on. In the genus Citrus (Cirtus), the mesocarp (white spongy tissue) developed system contains more citrinin, mesocarp thinner system contains more hesperidin. This product is extracted from dried, mature orange peel.
The dried orange peel is coarsely crushed, add 3-6 times the amount of water soaked about 0.5h, so that it is soft. Then add 4-10% of the amount of lime and 7-12 times the amount of water, mix well, check the pH value. Require pH value of 11.5-12, otherwise lime or sodium hydroxide should be added.
Soak 1.5-2h, centrifugal filtration, filtrate and then add 5-7 times the amount of water and the appropriate amount of lime to adjust the pH to 11.5-12, continue to soak after centrifugal filtration.
After the filtrate is clear, add dilute hydrochloric acid to adjust pH to 5, after standing for 2d, collect the precipitate, wash with water to near neutral, that is, the crude product.
The crude with 1% sodium hydroxide and 50% ethanol soluble in a mixture of human part of the amount of dissolution, filtration, filtrate and then dilute hydrochloric acid to adjust pH to 5, standing overnight, collect the precipitate, first 50% ethanol washed for 1 time, and then washed with water to near neutral, dry at 70 ℃, crushed and sieved, that is, obtaining the hesperidin. To the total yield of orange peel powder is 0.6-1.8%.
