Uses of Minocycline.

Minocycline is mainly used for rickettsial disease, mycoplasma pneumonia, lymphogranuloma, malnutrition, plague, cholera, brucellosis (combined with streptomycin) and so on. It can also be applied to systemic or local infections caused by sensitive strains of E. coli, aerogenes, Shigella, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella, etc.

6. The combination of the general anesthetic methoxyflurane and this product can cause fatal renal toxicity.

7. Because minocycline can interfere with the bactericidal activity of penicillin, it should be avoided in combination with penicillins.
