Andrographolide is a kind of lactone extracted from the leaves of Andrographis paniculata, family Jurassicaceae. Andrographis paniculata leaves with 95% ethanol soaking, the ethanol soaking liquid with activated carbon decolourisation, decolourisation of the liquid distillation recovery of ethanol after the concentration of static crude crystals, crude crystals with 15 times the amount of 95% ethanol heating to dissolve the activated carbon decolourization, filtration, while hot, static recrystallization, a yellowish recrystallised product, and then by distilled water, chloroform, methanol washing and refining to get the end product of andrographis paniculata lactones. The total yield is 1-1.5% for raw drug.
