Pharmacological Effect of Clove.

2、Anti-fungal effect: ethanol extract 1:100, clove oil and eugenol 1:8000-1:16000 have inhibitory effect on astrocystis nucifera, Xylanococcus, gypsum-like microsporidia and inguinal epidermolysis bullosa.

3, anthelmintic effect: water or alcohol extract in vitro on pig roundworms have paralysis or killing effect, infected with roundworms in the dog oral clove oil 0.5-1.Og/kg, there are anthelmintic effect, but a dose can not be all roundworms driven off. Clove oil is better than decoction.

4. Stomachic effect: cloves are aromatic stomachic agent, can relieve abdominal gas and bloating, enhance digestion, reduce nausea and vomiting.
