Uses of Galacto Oligosaccharides.
Oligogalactans are prebiotics that promote the growth and multiplication of probiotics, which have a wide range of beneficial effects on gut health.

Preparation of Galacto Oligosaccharides.
There are five main methods for the preparation of oligogalactose: extraction from natural raw materials, acid hydrolysis of natural polysaccharides, chemical synthesis, fermentation and enzymatic synthesis.
However, in nature, its content is very small, and colorless, uncharged, extraction and separation is more difficult; natural polysaccharide conversion product yield is low, the product composition is complex, it is difficult to get the pure product; chemical synthesis of toxicity, easy to residue, low yield, serious pollution of the environment; fermentation method of production of oligo-galactose research less, its main method is to use microbial fermentation synthesis, but is still in the laboratory stage, the above four methods can not be applied in the actual production.
