Chloroxylenol Powder is colorless crystal. Melting point 115-116℃, boiling point 246℃. 1g at 20℃ is soluble in 3L water, soluble in 1 part 95% alcohol, soluble in ether, benzene, terpenes, non-volatile oils and sodium hydroxide solution. Slight phenolic odor, can evaporate with water vapor. Stable in hot water.

It is applied in emulsions, cosmetics, inks, plywood, plastics, as antifungal agent for plastics, especially for hard and semi-rigid PVC sheets, artificial leather, etc. Good heat resistance and weather resistance, low water extraction, strong persistence in resin, general dosage 2%. The product is low toxic. The oral LD50 in mice is 3450mg/kg.
