Production method of Cholic Acid Powder
- Method I. Preparation of crude bovine and sheep bile acid by ethanol crystallization method Take bovine or sheep bile, add 100g/L sodium hydroxide, heat and boil for 12-18h to obtain saponification solution. After cooling, add acid and adjust pH1, precipitate bile acid, remove the bile acid, boil, rinse, dry at 75℃, grind, and obtain crude bovine and sheep bile acid.

- Method 2, ethyl acetate separation method for the preparation of crude pig bile acid take fresh pig bile, add 3-3.5 times the amount of saturated lime water supernatant under stirring, to be added and continue to stir 5-10min, heated to boiling 2min, cooling, filtration, filtrate with hydrochloric acid pH 3.5, precipitation, rest for more than 12h, to obtain crude bile acid. Add water, add sulfuric acid to adjust pH1, precipitate pig bile acid. Take out, mash, rinse until no acid, filter, and get crude pig bile acid.

Add 200g/L anhydrous sodium sulfate, leave it overnight, concentrate to 1/3 of the original volume, release, cool down and crystallize, filter, wash the crystals with ethyl acetate, dry, and get the finished product of porcine bile acid. Crude porcine bile acid [ethyl acetate, activated carbon] → filtrate [anhydrous sodium sulfate] → filtrate [concentrate] → finished porcine bile acid.
