Product details

Phytic Acid powder Usage and Synthesis.

As a very important natural substance, phytate is widely found in plants such as legumes, cereals, dried fruits, vegetables and fruits, and is especially found in the highest amounts in seeds, which are used as a way of storing phosphorus (at least 80% of all phosphorus in grains is in the form of phytate), which is well stabilized and non-perishable.

If it is combined with a mineral such as magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc and other cations, it forms phytates and is immobilized, therefore, phytates are a key factor in phosphorus nutrition and mineral nutrition.

The principle of phytate in skin care is somewhat similar to that of tretinoin, which inhibits tyrosinase activity in the body, thereby controlling skin pigmentation.

However, because phytate is derived from plants and is edible, it has a low sensitization rate and is safe to use as an antioxidant and whitening agent, and is considered an ideal alternative to tretinoin.

Phytic Acid powder

Uses of Phytic Acid powder.

This product is mainly used as food additives and pharmaceutical raw materials.

It can prevent the generation of magnesium ammonium phosphate crystals (MgNH4OP4-6H2O) in cans, so-called Struvite preventive agent, tin and other metal dissolution preventive agent and anti-browning agent; used as a flavor enhancer and discoloration, fading preventive agent for soybean paste, soy sauce, pickled products; antioxidant for oils; pH adjusting agent, buffering agent; bee's head, burdock, bean sprouts and other agricultural products, preservative; canned fruits such as chestnut, pear, preservative for pasta; quality improvement agent for processed aquatic products; anti-coagulant Chemicalbook blood; vitamin B2, C, E, etc. Anti-browning agent for chestnuts, pears and other canned fruits; preservative for pasta; quality improver for processed aquatic products; anticoagulant; stabilizer for vitamins B2, C, E, etc.; antigolding agent for sake, wine, brandy and other alcoholic beverages; anti-phage infecting agent; fermentation promoter.

According to our GB-2760-88 regulations, it can also be used for freshness preservation, and the residue shall not exceed 20ppm. In addition, it can be used as antirust agent, detergent, anti-explosive agent, antistatic agent, coating, visualizing agent, reagent for rare earth metal analysis, etc. In particular, it can be used in cyanide plating solution.

Especially in the application of cyanide plating solution, phytic acid or sodium phytate instead of sodium cyanide for metal surface treatment, it is very striking.

Phytic Acid

Preparation of Phytic Acid powder.

Product method of Bulk Phytic Acid powder.

Widespread in nature, but hardly ever in a separate free state. It is generally widespread in plants in the form of complex salts of calcium, magnesium, or potassium (calcium magnesium isopropyl hexakisphosphate) and complexes of proteins, e it is often found in seeds, grains, germ, and rice bran. There are many literature reports on the preparation of this product.

Taking rice bran or wheat bran as raw material, filtered after soaking in dilute acid, neutralized and precipitated with lime and sodium hydroxide, then acidified and exchanged with ion exchange resin, concentrated under reduced pressure, decolorized and filtered to get the finished product. Alternatively, it can be chemically synthesized by cyclohexanol and inorganic phosphoric acid, or by using calcium and magnesium phytate as raw materials to remove metal ions. It can also be extracted from corn activated sludge.
