Dissolve L-cystine in dilute hydrochloric acid, add tin particles and reflux reduction reaction at elevated temperature for 2h, filter off the remaining tin particles in the reduction solution and dilute it with water, then saturate it with hydrogen sulphide; filter, wash the filter residue with a small amount of water; merge the washed solution and the filtrate, and then concentrate, crystallise under reduced pressure, cool, isolate, and dry to obtain L-cysteine hydrochloride.
