Calcium chloride consists of chlorine and calcium and has the chemical formula CaCl2.It is a typical ionic halide, a white solid at room temperature, and its aqueous solution is neutral. Calcium chloride, its hydrates and solutions have important applications in a variety of areas such as food manufacturing, building materials, medicine and biology.
Medical use
It can be made into 2% Calcium Chloride injection for the treatment of hypocalcaemia, among others. Calcium chloride aqueous solution is the main component of tear fluid and can be made into artificial tears. Calcium chloride aqueous solution can be added to ornamental fish feeding water to regulate water quality.
The product can be used for colic, etc. It can be used for itchy skin disease. It is used to relieve magnesium salt poisoning. It is used for vitamin D deficiency rickets, cartilage disease, calcium salt supplementation for pregnant and lactating women.
