Distarch Phosphate Usage and Function.

Distarch phosphate is a modified starch obtained by cross-linking starch with a phosphorylation agent. According to my country's GB2760, it can be used as a thickener in the production of various foods by adding appropriate amounts. The introduction of cross-linking bonds in the molecular structure inhibits the water absorption and swelling of starch particles, and can enhance the aging properties of starch, the gel strength and thermal stability of the paste. Compared with native starch, distarch phosphate is widely used in frozen foods, canned foods, and pudding products.

Uses of Distarch Phosphate.

Thickener; binder; stabilizer; used in canned food production, it can still maintain excellent fluidity in the initial stage of heating, which is beneficial to heat conduction, reducing heating time and nutrient loss.

Preparation of Distarch Phosphate.

A preparation process of distarch phosphate comprises the following steps: injecting process water into a feeding pool, adding raw starch, adjusting the concentration of starch milk to 18 degrees Baume, and beating the adjusted starch slurry into a reaction tank; adding anhydrous sodium sulfate with a starch weight of 0.5%, adjusting the pH to 10.0 with a sodium hydroxide solution, then adding phosphorus oxychloride with a starch weight of 0.15%, reacting for 40 minutes, adding a dilute hydrochloric acid solution to adjust the pH to 4.5, stopping the reaction, obtaining a crude product, and then enzymolysis treatment, wherein the content of α-amylase in the crude product is 300U/g, the time is 1 hour, the temperature is 81°C, and the pH is 6.5; then washing in a disc centrifuge, wherein the conductivity of the starch milk after washing is ≤3000μs/cm; then dehydrating with a scraper; then drying in an air flow dryer, wherein the drying tail wind temperature is 35°C-70°C, and the moisture content of the dried finished product is <18%; then sieving to a fineness of ≥99.0%, then packaging the finished product, and the finished product has a net content of 25kg, and then warehousing.

Product method of Bulk Distarch Phosphate Powder.

The starch milk is cross-linked with sodium trimetaphosphate or phosphorus oxychloride, or sodium tripolyphosphate plus sodium trimetaphosphate under alkaline conditions, and then neutralized, washed and dried.
