Pharmacological action of papaya extract softgel capsules.

1. Effects on the immune system of papaya decoction given intragastric administration for 8 consecutive days could significantly inhibit spleen index of mice, but had no significant effects on thymus index, serum lysozyme and peripheral blood T cells. Peritoneal injection of papaya extract significantly decreased the phagocytosis rate and phagocytosis index of mouse peritoneal macrophages.

2. Intraperitoneal injection of papaya aqueous extract showed significant inhibitory effect on Ayman's ascites carcinoma, lymphosarcoma 1 and sarcoma S180 in mice. The papaya crystals and organic acids extracted from papaya had significant inhibition rate on Ayman's ascites carcinoma in mice.

3. Hepatoprotective effect Single flavor papaya granule has obvious protective effect on rat liver injury caused by carbon tetrachloride, can significantly reduce serum alanine aminotransferase (SGPT), reduce hepatocyte swelling, degeneration and necrosis, and promote hepatocyte repair.

4. Anti-inflammatory effect papaya decoction can inhibit joint swelling caused by egg white injection in mice.

5. Antibacterial effect Papaya extract has inhibitory effect on Bacillus dysenteriae, tsutsugamushi and Rickettsiae.

6. Inhibition of diploid cells Papaya extract inhibited the growth of 35th generation human embryo lung diploid fibroblasts in vitro. Inhibits cell growth.
