Naringin is a dihydroflavonoid compound. Since there is no conjugation between the A and B rings at all,there is a strong UV absorption peak at 282nm, which makes naringin show a variety of biological activities and pharmacological effects. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-cancer, anti-mutagenic, anti-allergic,anti-ulcer, analgesic, blood pressure lowering activities, can lower blood cholesterol, reduce the formation of blood clots, improve the local microcirculation and nutrient supply, and can be used in the production of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
Uses and functions of Naringin.
Bittering agent. Pharmacological Effects of Naringin.
1, reports show that rats subcutaneous injection of 100mg/kg naringenin has obvious anti-inflammatory effect, 200mg/l concentration of naringenin on herpetic stomatitis virus has a strong inhibitory effect.
2, Reduce the viscosity of blood, reduce the formation of thrombus, and have analgesic, sedative and strong increase in bile secretion in experimental animals.
