Spectinomycin Dihydrochloride Usage and Synthesis:

Spectinomycin Dihydrochloride Powder is produced by Streptomyces; it is an aminoglycoside rapidly-bactericidal antibiotic composed of neutral sugars and aminocyclic alcohol-glycoside bonds; it is also known as splendycin. Daguanomycin hydrochloride is white or white powder. Spectinomycin Hydrochloride Antibiotics are used for the treatment of Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, mycoplasma and other diseases caused by sensitive bacterial infections. Daguanomycin hydrochloride for injection is a special drug for treating gonorrhea first developed by Lukang Medicine in China. Daguanomycin hydrochloride for injection is recommended as the preferred drug for gonorrhea by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health. In terms of combined drug use for clinical oral treatment of livestock and poultry, Danguanomycin hydrochloride can be used in combination with common clinical drugs at present, and most of them show synergistic antibacterial effect. Since macromycin is an alkaline antibiotic, its antibacterial efficacy will be significantly enhanced when combined with some alkaline drugs, such as timicosain, talomycin, sodium bicarbonate, etc.

Pharmacokinetics of Spectinomycin Dihydrochloride:

Spectinomycin hydrochloride is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It has a strong inhibitory effect on Gram-negative and positive bacteria and mycobacteria by interfering with protein synthesis in reactive bacteria. For example, it is effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella and mycobacteria and some Vibrio; very low toxicity; poorly absorbed orally, about 8-10% is absorbed by the intestinal tract. Daikonomycin hydrochloride is a broad-spectrum rapid bactericidal agent, which is more effective against Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Aspergillus, Streptococcus haemolyticus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Pneumocystis;

therefore, it has a better clinical treatment effect on infectious diseases caused by the above sensitive bacteria. It has an inhibitory effect on Gram-positive and negative bacteria. It has strong antibacterial effect on gonococcus, and also has good antibacterial activity on B-lactamase-producing gonococcus, which is a new type of special drug for the treatment of gonorrhea. Daikonomycin is an alkaline antimicrobial agent, and the stronger the alkalinity, the stronger the antimicrobial efficacy; however, Daikonomycin is not soluble in water, so the most commonly used commercial original drug in China is Daikonomycin hydrochloride.

Clinical Application of Spectinomycin Dihydrochloride:

Spectomycin Dichloride is used for the treatment of chronic respiratory disease, enterotoxic syndrome, clostridial necrotizing enteritis, pneumatocystitis, pericarditis, perihepatitis, etc. caused by mixed infections of Mycoplasma, E. coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pasteurella, Streptococcus in poultry; wheezing disease, pleuropneumonia, mycoplasma pneumonia, bronchitis, intractable diarrhea and dysentery in pigs. Like other aminoglycoside antimicrobials, the antimicrobial mechanism of daikonomycin hydrochloride is to selectively act on the 30s subunit of bacterial cell nucleoprotein body after entering the bacterial cell, thus producing a powerful inhibition of bacterial cell protein synthesis and a powerful killing effect on sensitive bacteria.
