1.Anti-tumour effect

Studies have shown that the solids of Camphoria sinensis have anticancer effects, and the methanolic extract of Camphoria mycelium, Camphoria acid A, had a significant inhibitory effect on lymphoid tumour cells of P-388 mice.

The mycelia of M. camphorata showed significant cytotoxicity against HL-60 cells with leukocytosis, but not against human endothelial cells cultured artificially.

Tumour inhibition experiments on the filtrate of liquid culture of S. camphorata strain CCRC930032 showed that the culture medium filtrate of this strain could strongly inhibit the growth of mammary tumour cells (MCF-7), cervical tumour cells (Hela), gastric tumour cells (AGS), intestinal tumour cells (COLO205, COLO320HSR), hepatic tumour cells (Hep3B2.1-7), colon tumour cells (CaCoCo), and other tumour cells (Hep3B2.1-7). 2.. Anti-inflammatory effects

The triterpenoid camphoric acid isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma lucidum possesses anti-inflammatory activity, and the aqueous extract of mycelium from deep culture of Ganoderma lucidum also possesses similar anti-inflammatory activity.

The methanolic extract of Camphoria japonica has platelet coagulation effect, while Camphoria japonica B has weak anticholinergic and anti-5-hydroxytryptophan effects, and Camphoria japonica also has skin rejuvenation function.

The extract of C. camphorata effectively inhibited the apoptosis of neuron-like pheochromocytoma (PC12) cell line, indicating its protective effect on neuronal cells.

Two phenyl compounds were isolated from the fruiting bodies of C. camphorata, and their structures were determined by spectroscopy and 2DNMR as methyl 2,5-dimethoxy-3,4-methylenedioxybenzoate and 4,5-dimethoxy-2,3-methylenedioxybenzoate.

The polysaccharides were extracted from the fruiting bodies, mycelium and filtrate obtained from the solid and liquid cultures of Ganoderma lucidum, and the monosaccharides in the polysaccharides mainly consisted of mannose, glucose, xylose, galactose, galactosamine, glucuronic acid, and ribose, and the content of the soluble sugars, such as arabinose, glucose, and alginate, was more than 10%, and the contents of proteins were 9.49%-29.1%, and the contents of total amino acids were 7.01%-11.1mg-g-g-1. 11.1mg-g-1dry weight, Camphoria also contains monosodium glutamate-like substances, bitter substances and spices 5-nucleosides, Camphoria mycelium has a sweet taste.
