Cypromazine, also known as maggot exterminator, is a new type of insect growth regulator, which has a good killing effect on the larvae of diptera insects, especially on several common fly larvae (maggot) propagating in feces. The difference between it and the general insecticide is that it kills larvae - maggots, while the general insecticide only kills flies and is more toxic.
Uses of Cyromazine.
Cypromazine is an insect growth regulator against leaf miner flies. It can cause morphological distortion in the development of diptera larvae and pupae, and adult emergence is inhibited or incomplete, which indicates that it is caused by interference with molting and pupae. Oral or local application had no lethal effect on adult worms, but the hatching rate of eggs decreased after oral ingestion. It has an internal absorption effect on the plant body, and has a strong conduction effect when applied to the leaves. When applied to the soil, it is absorbed by the roots and transmitted to the top. Apply to beans, carrots, celery, melons, lettuce, Onions, peas, green peppers, potatoes, tomatoes with 12 ~ 30g/100L treatment, or 75 ~ 225g/hm2. The effect of high dose was longer than that of low dose. The soil application dose is 200 ~ 1000g/hm2, and the effect of high dose can be up to 8 weeks.
Preparation of Cyromazine.
Cyanogen chloride is stirred with ammonia water at room temperature, filtered to obtain diamino-substituted 3(6-chloro-2, 4-diamino-1, 3, 5-triazine), and then reacts with cyclopropylamine at 110 to obtain cyclopropylamine. This method is simple and easy to operate, but the last step needs to add excessive expensive cyclopropylamine, which needs to be recovered during post-treatment. It increases the difficulty of the process. The total yield of the two-step reaction was 69.7%.
Product Method of Bulk Cyromazine Powder.
2-cyclopropylamino-4, 6-dichlorotriazine was prepared by the reaction of cyanouramide chloride with cyclopropylamino-4, 6-chloro-triazine with ammonia, and then 2-cyclopropylamino-4-chloro-6-aminotriazine was prepared by the reaction of ammonia gas.
