Product details
Triacontanol has a variety of physiological functions, which can affect the growth, differentiation and development of plants.
The main performance is: can enhance the activity of enzymes, promote seed germination, improve germination rate; enhance photosynthetic intensity, improve chlorophyll content, increase the accumulation of dry matter; promote the absorption of mineral elements, improve protein and sugar content, improve product quality and so on.
It can also promote crop root growth, leaf production, flower bud differentiation; increase tillering, promote early maturity, flower and fruit preservation, and improve the rate of fruitfulness; promote crop water absorption, reduce evaporation, and increase crop drought resistance.
Tricosanol is suitable for kelp, nori and other seaweed culture and peanut, corn, wheat, tobacco and other crops to improve yield.
Uses of Triacontanol.
Used as a plant growth regulator, applicable to a variety of crops.
Used as a plant growth regulator for rice, wheat, cotton, soybeans, corn, sorghum, sugarcane, etc. have a more substantial increase in yield; pollution-free plant growth regulator.
Has a variety of physiological effects: promote energy storage, improve cell permeability, regulate physiological functions, increase chlorophyll content, improve photosynthetic intensity, enhance enzyme activity, promote mineral absorption, promote seed germination, root rooting, improve maturation, increase protein content and dry matter quality.
Rice, wheat, cotton, soybeans, corn, sorghum, tobacco, sugar beet, peanuts, vegetables, fruit trees, sugar cane, oilseed crops, etc. have obvious effects of yield increase and quality improvement.
The general use concentration is 0.01~0.5mg/L, 0.5~1mg/L for spraying, 1~5mg/L for dipping.
Caveat of Triacontanol.
(1) Threoctanol dilution should be used now, and the preparation should be well stirred. Control the dosage, too high a concentration will inhibit germination.
(2)Tridecanol should not be mixed with acidic substances to avoid decomposition and failure.
(3)Pay attention to protection during use, if any medicine splashes on the skin, it should be rinsed off with water.
(4)Spraying time after three o'clock in the afternoon, spraying before the temperature above 20 ℃ is appropriate. Sprayed within six hours after the rain to make up a spray.
(5) This product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place, should not be frozen, not mixed with seeds, food, feed. If trace precipitation is found after storage, it should be shaken well before use.
Product Method of Triacontanol.
Tricosanols are often combined with higher aliphatic acids to form esters, which are commonly found in insect waxes or plants, such as beeswax, sugar wax, cane wax, cotton wax, alfalfa wax, apple peel wax, and tea leaf wax, among others.
In Chinese beeswax, the content of tricosanol is as high as 30 per cent, which generally consists of tricosanol esters of palmitic acid, tricosanol esters of wax acid and tricosanol esters of cetylenic acid.
These esters undergo a saponification reaction with an alkali to produce sodium higher fatty acids and tricosanols.
In the saponification, add a solvent (such as benzene, petroleum ether, etc.) extraction, and then desolventised to obtain products containing advanced monohydric alcohols and hydrocarbons such as tricosanol, dehydrocarbonisation and purification to obtain the pure product tricosanol. Total yield 10-15%.
There are test cases, but also in the saponification when adding phase transfer catalyst (quaternary amine salt or crown ether), shorten the saponification reaction time, thirty alkanol yield is also slightly increased.
With decanedioic acid as raw material, using alkyl zinc chloride method, or by the hexadecene by complex decomposition reaction and zirconium hydrogenation reaction, as well as a number of other methods can be synthesised to obtain the triacontanol.
