Carbaryl is a widely used insecticide, especially in fruit and vegetable cultivation for fruit thinning and pest control .
Because of its high toxicity to bees, care needs to be taken during use to avoid effects on beneficial insects such as bees.
Besides being used as an insecticide, Carbaryl is also used in the manufacture of compounded formulations with other compounds such as polyaldehyde-carbaryl and tetrameric-snail-killing amine for the control of mollusks such as snails and slugs.

For the control of rice fly, leafhopper, thrips, soybean aphid, soybean heartworm, cotton bollworm, fruit tree pests, forestry pests and so on.
It is a carbamate insecticide, with poisoning effects of touch and stomach, and slightly endosorbent, and can control more than 100 kinds of pests in more than 150 kinds of crops. It can be processed into wettable powder or gel suspension for the control of rice fly, rice leafhopper, cotton bollworm, soybean heartworm and fruit tree pests.
It has good control effect on insects resistant to organochlorine and organophosphorus. The dosage is generally 375-750g active ingredient per hectare. This product cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides. It is highly toxic to bees and should not be used in beekeeping areas during the flowering season.
