AA and Asc-2P regulate many biological processes. When 2-phospho-L-ascorbate was added with DHT, DHT-induced DKK-1 mrna expression in DPC was significantly weakened. It was also found that DHT treatment increased DKK-1 promoter activity. When 2-phospho-L-ascorbate was added with DHT, the activation of DHT-induced luciferase activity was significantly inhibited.
