Corn Silk Extract Usage and Function.

Pharmacological Action of Corn Silk Extract.
1. Hypoglycemic effect
The water extract of corn silk has a therapeutic effect on alloxan-induced diabetes in mice, and also has a significant antagonistic effect on the increase in blood sugar caused by glucose and adrenaline. The water extract of corn silk can reduce blood sugar content and has no effect on normal mice.
