Baicalein Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Baicalein is so named because it is mainly found in Scutellaria baicalensis. Baicalein has the effect of lowering cerebral vascular resistance, improving cerebral blood circulation, increasing cerebral blood flow and antiplatelet agglutination. It is clinically used in the treatment of paralysis after cerebrovascular disease.

Uses and functions of Berberine.

It has anti-inflammatory, anti-metamorphic reaction, diuretic, choleretic, cholesterol-lowering, anti-thrombotic, and asthma-relieving effects. It is also a specific inhibitor of mammalian liver salivary enzymes and has the effect of regulating certain diseases. It is used as raw material to produce baicalin protophosphate for allergy, asthmatic pneumonia, also used as astringent, haemostatic drugs.

Pharmacological Effect of Berberine.

Product method of  Bulk Baicalein Powder.

1.Extraction Scutellaria root crushed with water boiled 3 times, combined extracts, filtered and added acid to adjust the ph value of 4, stirred with slight heat and left to stand, centrifuged to separate the precipitate. The precipitate was washed with water with ph value of 4 and dried to obtain the crude product. The crude product was hydrolysed in 1.2 mol-L-1 hydrochloric acid in boiling water for several hours, and the precipitate was filtered off by cooling to be baicalin.
