Carbasalate Calcium CAS 5749-67-7 Raw Materials Powder
Product Overview:
Carbasalate Calcium Powder is an aspirin derivative, a salt produced by complexing calcium acetylsalicylate with urea. carbasalate calcium CAS 5749-67-7 has the same metabolic characteristics and pharmacological effects as aspirin. In water, calcium carbasalate is hydrolyzed to produce acetylsalicylic acid, which effectively acts as an antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and aggregation inhibitor. carbasalate Calcium Raw Materials can treat fever and inflammation in poultry and livestock. It can be used as an adjunct to this when treating avian influenza, kidney swelling and other poultry diseases.Carbasalate Calcium CAS 5749-67-7 is used clinically for fever with colds, headache, toothache, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, rheumatic and rheumatoid arthritis, and for the prevention of transient ischemic attacks of the brain, myocardial infarction or thrombosis after surgery.

Carbasalate Calcium CAS 5749-67-7 Raw Materials Powder Details
Carbasalate Calcium Powder Usage and Synthesis.
It has antipyretic and analgesic effect and is used in the treatment of pain and febrile diseases,the pharmacological action is the complex of calcium acetylsalicylate and urea.The metabolic characteristics and pharmacological action are the same as that of aspirin.Oral absorption is rapid, effective, high bioavailability, metabolism by the liver, excretion by the kidney.Its antipyretic ananlgesic effect is stronger, the adverse reaction is small, to the gastrointestinal mucous membrane has almost no stimulation.

Application/Function of Carbasalate Calcium Powder.
It has antipyretic and analgesic effect and is used in the treatment of pain and febrile diseases. Uses:Used for fever, pain and inflammation from various causes. Also used for kidney swelling and urate deposition in chickens. It can relieve the symptoms and have auxiliary therapeutic effect on unnamed high fever in pigs, chicken influenza, atypical Newcastle disease, infectious bursitis, infectious bronchitis, etc. Synonyms:Aspirin calcium urea;Acetylsalicylic acid calcium urea.
Pharmacological effects of Carbasalate Calcium Powder
It has antipyretic and analgesic effect. Since it does not contain sodium, it can also be used for people who are sodium inhibitors. Compared with similar drugs, it is well tolerated in the digestive tract and rarely causes stomach pain. It is rapidly absorbed orally, with peak blood concentration of acetylsalicylic acid after 20 min and peak concentration of salicylic acid after 1h. The distribution of this product is in accordance with the two-compartment open model, salicylate is mostly bound to plasma proteins, mainly in the liver through binding and hydroxylation to form inactive metabolites, and excreted by the kidneys. The elimination half-life is prolonged with increasing dose.
Preparation of Carbasalate Calcium Powder.
A method for the preparation of carbasalate calcium comprising the steps of.
- (1) adding aspirin to an alcohol solvent and slowly adding ammonia dropwise at 5-10°C under stirring conditions, adjusting the pH to 6-8.5, then adding anhydrous calcium nitrate, raising the temperature to 30-40°C and reacting for 1-1.5 hours;
- (2) adding urea to the reaction solution prepared in step (1) and reacting for 20-40 minutes at 25-35°C;
- (3) Cool down the reaction solution made in step (2) to 0-5°C, leave to raise crystal for 0.5-1.5 hours, filter, and dry under vacuum at 40-45°C for 1.5-2.5 hours to produce calcium carbapenem.
