Tetrandrine Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Tetrandrine (Tet), also known as tetrandrine, is a kind of bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid extracted from the tuberous roots of tetrandrine, belonging to the family of tetrandrine, and it is a new type of calcium antagonist, which is the main active ingredient of tetrandrine; it has the functions of anti-inflammation, analgesia, antihypertension, anti-silicosis, lowering of blood glucose, anti-free radicals, anti-fibrotic, anti-tumor and other anti-tumor effects. Pharmacological effects; clinically used for simple silicosis and coal silicosis.
It is also used for early mild hypertension, rheumatic pain, arthralgia, neuralgia and so on. It is also used in the treatment of liver cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, bladder cancer and leukaemia.
Uses and functions of Tetrandrine.
1.Immune system diseasesHantahexin can significantly inhibit the development of arthritis and its effect is stronger than that of aspirin, and it can be used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
2. Cardiovascular system diseasesHanfengji methylin not only has calcium antagonism, can inhibit the T-type and L-type calcium channels of ventricular myocytes, but also interacts with the M receptor to block calcium-activated potassium channels, which has become a therapeutic method for the treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.

Differentiate of Tetrandrine Powder.
Take 1g of this product powder, add ethanol 15ml, heat reflux for 1 hour, cool, filter, filtrate evaporation, residue with ethanol 5ml to dissolve, as a test solution. Another take Han Fangji alkaloid and Fangji Norin alkaloid control, add chloroform to make a mixed solution containing 1 ml of each in 1 ml, as the control solution.
Pipette 5μl of each of the above two test solutions, respectively, on the same silica gel G thin layer plate, with chloroform-acetone-methanol (6:1:1) as the unfolding agent, unfolding, drying, sprayed with bismuth iodide potassium solution. In the chromatogram of the reagent, spots of the same colour were shown on the corresponding positions with the control chromatogram.
Pharmacological Effect of Bulk Tetrandrine Powder.
1. The preventive and curative effects on hepatic fibrosis, Tet can make the serum type III precollagen, serum and hepatic HA decreased significantly, and the intrahepatic collagen deposition decreased, suggesting that Tet can be used for the treatment of hepatic fibrosis in chronic liver disease.
2. In hypoxic pulmonary hypertension, Tet can significantly reduce the elevated pulmonary arterial pressure and pulmonary vascular resistance, and improve the CO and oxygen transport capacity, but has no significant effect on the systemic circulation and blood gas level.
Tet mainly inhibits the proliferation of collagen fibres in small pulmonary arteries and inhibits hypoxia-induced thickening and muscularisation of pulmonary blood vessels, so that the narrowing of the lumen of small pulmonary arteries can be reduced significantly and pulmonary artery pressure can be lowered, thus partially inhibiting the development of pulmonary hypertension.
3.Therapeutic effect on silicosisBased on the preparation of cDNA probes for Proα1(Ⅰ) and Proα1(Ⅲ) collagen, the effects of Tet on the mRNA of Ⅰ and Ⅲ collagen genes in silicosis were observed by using spot and in situ molecular hybridisation techniques.
It was concluded that the accumulation of collagen in silicosis was caused by the enhanced expression of collagen genes due to quartz dust, and TET could directly or indirectly inhibit the transcription of collagen genes, thus reducing the synthesis of collagen in diseased tissues.
4.Therapeutic effect on hypertensionTet has a significant antihypertensive effect and can significantly reduce the level of lipid peroxides (LPO) and thromboxane (TXB2) in the blood of patients with hypertension, significantly increase the level of SOD and prostacyclin (6-keto-PGF1α), and reduce the ratio of TXB2/6-keto-PGF1α.
The antihypertensive mechanism of hanfengjiaoxin is caused by blocking the voltage-dependent calcium channels in myocardium and vascular smooth muscle and increasing the level of 6-keto-PGF1α.
5.Therapeutic effect on angina pectorisTet has the effect of significantly reducing myocardial oxygen consumption index, compared with nitrophenylpyridine, there is no significant difference. Therefore, Tet is an effective drug for the treatment of angina pectoris, prevention of myocardial infarction and reduction of myocardial ischaemia-reperfusion injury.
6.Enhance the effect of anticancer drugs by MTT method to detect the toxic effects of Zoerythromycin (DNR) and HHT on leukaemia cells, and observe the effect of Tet on the cytotoxicity of the two chemotherapeutic drugs.
The results showed that Tet significantly increased the toxic effects of DNR and HHT on drug-resistant cells (K562/AO2,K562/HHT).
