Chamomile Extract Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Chamomile extract for the Asteraceae plant chamomile dried grass extract, mainly containing flavonoids, saponins, polysaccharides, volatile oils and other ingredients, with anti-inflammatory, inhibit fungi, antispasmodic and other effects; because of its multiple medicinal properties, has been used as a medicinal cosmetic ingredient containing chamomile volatile oils of the ointment, creams and lotions used for the treatment of a variety of dermatological disorders in Europe!

Uses of Chamomile Extract.

It expels wind and relieves epidemics, clears heat and relieves dampness. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, antihistamine, anti-allergic, local anaesthetic, antispasmodic, antitoxic, sunscreen, emollient effects

Pharmacological Effect of Chamomile Extract.

1. Antispasmodic effect of chamomile decoction can inhibit rabbit isolated intestinal tubes and guinea pig isolated bronchial constriction, so that the tracheal secretion is reduced, chamomile extract of apigenin (apiin) and glycosides (i.e.: apigenin apigenin) has a moderate antispasmodic effect on smooth muscle.

2. Anti-inflammatory effect orchid oil has antibacterial effect, chamomile volatile oil also has a certain bactericidal effect.

3. On the blood vessels and its role in chamomile extract can contract the lower limbs of the toad blood vessels; rabbits have a temporary elevated blood pressure; fever rabbits have antipyretic effect; can promote the healing of ulcers in mice, enhance the function of the reticuloendothelial system in rabbits.

4. Hypolipidemic effect of chamomile extract fed to rats 4 weeks later, can play a significant role in lowering blood pressure, hypolipidemic effect, chamomile blood pressure and hypolipidemic effect of chamomile and chamomile water-soluble extract contains a large number of flavonoids.

5. Antibacterial effect of chamomile extract can inhibit the activity of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus and Candida albicans.

Preparation method of Bulk Chamomile Extract Powder.

Take chamomile dry flowers 5.0kg, add 12 times distilled water, heating reflux extraction 3 times, each time 1.5h, filtration, combined with the extract, rotary evaporation to 1mL solution containing 1g of raw medicine, add 95% ethanol, alcohol precipitation, so that the solution contains alcohol up to 60%, standing 48h, filtration, rotary evaporation, 60 ℃ drying at a constant temperature, to get the chamomile extract powder.

Flavonoids extraction separation of chamomile head crushed by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction of volatile oil extract 500g, with 95% ethanol reflux extraction for 3 times, combined with the extract, concentrated under reduced pressure to get 71.5g of extract.

The extract was mixed with an equal amount of polyamide, and purified by repeated column chromatography with polyamide (ethanol-water gradient elution) to obtain Compound Ⅰ (25 mg) and Compound Ⅱ (18 mg).
