Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus pyogenes, Enterobacteriaceae, Enterobacteriaceae vaginalis and Micrococcus spp. Christophilus, but it had no antimicrobial effect against five bacteria viz. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus sphaericus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Bacillus wax and Streptococcus faecalis, and the aqueous extract at a concentration of 5mg/ml had no antimicrobial activity.
Moreover, the aqueous extract of Moringa leaves along with acetone extract also had no antibacterial activity against fungi such as Candida albicans and Aspergillus flavus.
