Liensinine Raw Materials Liensinine powder
Product Overview:
Water lily plant NelumbonuciferaGaeertn is an important Chinese herbal medicine, its leaves can clear the summer heat and dampness, stop bleeding, its stalks can broaden the middle to regulate qi, etc., and the green germ of the mature seeds of the lotus - Lotus heart, has the effect of clearing the heart qi and fire, and fixing the essence and blood. The efficacy of lotus seed heart is mainly antihypertensive, "Compendium of Materia Medica" recorded its bitter and cold taste, has the effect of clearing the heart and removing heat, and thus is basically positioned as a role in the cardiovascular system, especially anti-arrhythmic drugs and research. It has been reported that the heart of lotus seed mainly contains alkaloids such as liensinine, neferine, isoliensinine, and flavonoids such as lignan and rutin.

Liensinine Raw Materials Liensinine powder Details
Liensinine powder Usage and Synthesis.
Lotus corniculatus is a bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid found mainly in the mature seeds of lotus seed centre.
It has a variety of pharmacological activities, such as hypotensive, antiarrhythmic, anticoagulant and antioxidant effects. In recent years, researchers have found that lotus heart alkaloids also have new pharmacological effects such as anticonvulsant, antithrombotic and hypoglycaemic.
The chemical structural formula of Lianxinine was determined by Chinese chemist Gao Yisheng and others in 1962-1966. Studies have shown that methylxanthines can improve non-alcoholic steatohepatitis by regulating the AMPK pathway.
Uses of Liensinine powder.
Firstly, Lianxinine has hypotensive effects, which can be achieved by blocking adrenal α-receptors and inhibiting intracellular calcium release.
Secondly, Lianxinine also has anti-arrhythmic, anticoagulant, antioxidant, transporting the heart and kidney, astringent and haemostatic effects. In addition, Lotus cardiacus has been found to possess pharmacological activities such as antitumour, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.
In clinical application, lotus heart can be used to treat symptoms such as heat entering the pericardium, delirium, insomnia and spermatorrhea, blood heat and vomiting of blood, etc. The common dosage is 2-5 grams, which can be decocted or put into bulk form.
Pharmacological effect of Liensinine powder.
Antihypertensive
Lianxinine has a transient antihypertensive effect. When cats were given 10mg/kg of Liensinine, their blood pressure immediately dropped to 40% of the original level, and at the same time, the electrocardiogram showed tachycardia, but it was recovered in 10min~20min; about 20min after 100mg/kg of Liensinine was given in the duodenum, the blood pressure began to drop, and after observing the patient for 2h, their blood pressure dropped to 30% of the original level, and the heart rate was slowed down.
The antihypertensive effect and effective time of action of Lotus corniculatus were dose-dependent, and the antihypertensive effect of the same dose of methylespericin (another alkaloid extracted from the heart of lotus seed) was basically the same, but the effective time of action was shorter than that of methylespericin. Experiments show that the effect of rosmarinine on diastolic blood pressure is greater than that on systolic blood pressure, suggesting that the main site of action of the drug is in the peripheral vasculature, rather than central action.
Inhibition of smooth muscle
Contraction lotus heart base on phenylephrine (PE), 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), histamine (His) induced by the rabbit aortic ring contraction of varying degrees of inhibition, and the contraction caused by PE, the inhibition of its role is more pronounced; on the contraction caused by high K + depolarisation of the inhibition of the role of the insignificant, suggesting that the drug on the voltage-dependent calcium channel has less effect.
Lianxinine also inhibited PE-induced contraction of rabbit urethral smooth muscle. In isolated rabbit aortic rings and rat anal caudate muscle, it could make the α1 receptor agonist methoxamine and PE volume-efficacy curve shift to the right in parallel, and the maximal response remained unchanged, and the measured PA2 values were 6.8 and 6.6, respectively, indicating that Lianxinine had a high selectivity for the α1 receptor and was competitively antagonistic; it also markedly inhibited the norepinephrine (NE) induced endo It also significantly inhibited norepinephrine (NE)-induced intracellular calcium release, and had less effect on NE-induced extracellular calcium inward flow, which had the effect of inhibiting intracellular calcium release.
