Lactose Monohydrate Raw Materials Lactose Monohydrate
Product Overview:
D(+)-lactose monohydrate is used as a reaction substrate to artificially synthesize oligosaccharides with a degree of polymerization of 2 to 8 under the hydrolysis and transglycosylation of galactosidase. Studies have shown that D(+)-lactose monohydrate has multiple physiological functions, such as protecting intestinal health, participating in immune regulation, inhibiting tumor cell formation, improving human mineral absorption, and improving cardiovascular diseases.

Lactose Monohydrate Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Metabolism of Lactose Monohydrate.
D(+)-lactose monohydrate exists in the human body and some foods. It can be metabolized and excreted within 8 hours after ingestion. However, after continuous high-dose ingestion, it is converted into aldose and hydrogen peroxide by galactose oxidase, which in turn produces reactive oxygen species. The increase in ROS leads to oxidative stress, inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction and apoptosis. D(+)-lactose monohydrate simulates natural aging in rodents by exacerbating oxidative stress and glycosylation.
