Nefiracetam Usage and Function.
Nefacetam, a cognitive enhancer in the Racetam family, was originally derived from the parent molecule piracetam, but is most structurally similar to aniracetam. Because Nefeacetam and aniracetam are fat-soluble drugs. They are used to improve the treatment of memory and cognitive impairment. The mechanism of action is nefeacetam in two so-called ways. The first is to lengthen the opening of calcium channels (which bind to PKA and Gi/o proteins) that enhance the receptor response, regardless of the synapse; A second pathway is associated with PKC and CAMKII, which then complete the response due to cholinergic receptors (which are then the most excited neurotransmitters released at the presynaptic level, as is the case with nicotine). The former pathway (calcium channel) is important in the long run, while the latter pathway (PKC/CAMKII) has an effect on the strengthening of nerve signals and their transmission.
