Sulindac Powder (Sulindac) is an effective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for the treatment of colonic polyposis.Sulindac CAS 38194-50-2 is a minimally active precursor drug that is metabolised into the body as an active sulphide, which inhibits cyclooxygenase and reduces prostaglandin synthesis, resulting in analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. Sulindac Raw Materials is a non-steroidal COX inhibitor that effectively inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins and is used to treat acute or chronic inflammatory conditions.
Osteoarthritis
Overview of adult domestic use:
0.2g orally once, once a day in the morning and once in the evening; may be repeated after 8h for analgesia.
Adult FDA Use Summary:
The anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity of sulindac has been clinically demonstrated in patients with osteoarthritis of the hip and knee.
The recommended starting dose is 150 mg twice daily with food. The dose may be reduced or increased depending on the response, up to a maximum dose of 400mg daily.
Rheumatoid Arthritis

Adult FDA Usage Overview:
The anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity of sulindac has been clinically demonstrated in patients with acute painful frozen shoulder (acute subacromial bursitis/supraspinatus tendonitis).
FDA Dosage: In acute painful shoulder joint pain (acute subacromial bursitis/supraspinatus tendonitis) and acute gouty arthritis, the recommended dose is 200 mg twice daily. After a satisfactory response has been achieved, the dose may be reduced according to the response. For acute shoulder pain, treatment for 7 to 14 days is usually adequate. For acute gouty arthritis, treatment for 7 days is usually adequate.
