Calcium pantothenate is one of the B vitamins, which is one of the nutrients necessary for normal biological growth. Calcium pantothenate exists in three forms due to chiral carbon atoms: DL-body (miscible), D-body (dextrorotatory) and L-body (levorotatory), and only D-calcium pantothenate is biologically active, with the appearance of white or yellowish acicular crystals or powders, melting point of 195 to 196 ° C (decomposition), soluble in water, methanol, glycerol, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, hygroscopic and slightly sweet, but turning slightly bitter. Calcium D-Pantothenate Powder Usage and Synthesis.
