Bioactive pharmacological effects of Sulforaphane Raw Powder
Radish sulfide is a multifunctional enzyme inducer that induces the body to produce the type II detoxification enzymes glutathione transferase (GST) and quinone reductase (QR), which are capable of neutralising suspected carcinogens and preventing them from destroying genes in healthy cells, thus acting as an anticancer agent.

An isothiocyanate compound, either natural or synthetic, has been found to directly inhibit both the methylation of CpGDNA in the initiator/5-UTR region of genes and the activity of histone deacetylases (HADC), which selectively promote histone acetylation.
It can selectively promote histone acetylation and methylation, thus restoring the expression of some genes with important functions that have been abnormally shut down in cancer cells, and exerting their normal functions, so that the malignant proliferation of cancer cells can be controlled.
Thus, it can effectively inhibit the growth of human tumour cells, including colon cancer, stomach cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, liver cancer, colon cancer, melanoma and neuroblastoma.
