Pharmaceutical raw material Amikacin Sulphate Details
Amikacin Sulphate Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Amikacin sulphate, the name of a western medicine. Common preparations include injections.
It is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It is used for serious infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and some other pseudomonas, Escherichia coli, Aspergillus spp., Klebsiella spp. and other sensitive gram-negative bacilli and staphylococcus spp. such as bacteraemia or sepsis, bacterial endocarditis, lower respiratory tract infections, bone and joint infections, biliary tract infections and so on.
As the product is stable to most aminoglycoside blunting enzymes, it is also used for the treatment of serious infections caused by Gram-negative bacilli resistant to kanamycin, gentamicin or tobramycin strains.
Uses and functions of Amikacin Sulphate.
Amikacin sulfate is used for the treatment of serious infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and some other Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Aspergillus spp., Klebsiella spp. and other susceptible gram-negative bacilli and staphylococcus spp., such as bacteraemia or septicaemia, bacterial endocarditis, lower respiratory tract infections, bone and joint infections, biliary tract infections, and so on.
Since Amikacin sulfate is stable to most aminoglycoside blunting enzymes, it is also used for the treatment of serious infections caused by Gram-negative bacilli resistant to kanamycin, gentamicin or tobramycin.
Physiological Effect of Amikacin Sulphate.
1, Amikacin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, on most Enterobacteriaceae, such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacteriaceae, Proteus, Shigella, Salmonella, Citrobacter, Serratia and so on have a good effect, on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other Pseudomonas, Bacillus, alkali bacillus, etc., also have a good effect; Neisseria meningitides, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, Yersinia pestis, Campylobacter fetus, tuberculosis and some non-tuberculosis Mycobacterium. It also has good effect on Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, Yersinia pestis, Campylobacter fetus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and some non-tuberculosis Mycobacterium spp.
The most outstanding advantage of this product is that it is stable to the aminoglycoside passivation enzyme produced by many enteric gram-negative bacilli, and will not be passivated by this kind of enzyme and lose antibacterial activity. Among the 12 passonucleases isolated so far, it is only passivated by AAC (6'), in addition to AAD (4') and APH (3')-III, which occasionally lead to moderate bacterial resistance to the product.
About 60%-70% of clinical isolates of Enterobacteriaceae resistant to aminoglycosides such as gentamicin, tobramycin and nertilmicin are still susceptible to this product. In recent years, the number of amikacin-resistant strains of Gram-negative bacilli has also increased.
2, Gram-positive cocci in addition to the staphylococcus genus of methicillin-sensitive strains have good antibacterial effect, Streptococcus pneumoniae, various groups of streptococci and enterococci genus most of the resistance to the drug. It is not effective against anaerobic bacteria.
3, the mechanism of action of this product is to act on the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. Amikacin and semi-synthetic penicillins or cephalosporins can often be synergistic antibacterial effect.
Drug interactions of Bulk Amikacin Sulphate Powder.
1、Combination with other aminoglycosides or successive local or systemic application may increase ototoxicity, nephrotoxicity and neuromuscular blocking effect.
2、Combination of this product with neuromuscular blocking drugs can aggravate the neuromuscular blocking effect, resulting in muscle weakness, respiratory depression and other symptoms. The combination of this product with colchicine, cisplatin, etanercept, furosemide or vancomycin (or desmethyl vancomycin), etc., or successive local or systemic application, may increase ototoxicity and nephrotoxicity.
3, this product and cefotiophene or cefazolin local or systemic combination may increase nephrotoxicity. This product should not be paired with amphotericin B, cefthiophene, sulfadiazine and tetracycline and other injections, not in the same bottle of drip.
4, this product and polymyxin injections combined or successive successive local or systemic application, may increase nephrotoxicity and neuromuscular blocking effect.
5, other nephrotoxic drugs and ototoxic drugs should not be combined with this product or successive application, so as not to aggravate nephrotoxicity or ototoxicity.
