Chlorogenic acid, also known as "chlorogenic acid", "coffee tannins", "coffee tannins", is a phenylpropanoid compound produced by the mangiferolic acid pathway during aerobic respiration of plants, a derivative of caffeoyl quinic acid, with a strong antioxidant capacity, but also has a strong antiviral, anti-tumour cells, antibacterial, improve central excitement, choleretic, anti-teratological, anti-allergy, and regulate the activity of cytochrome P450 ligase and other functions.
