Wicker betel extract is the extracted component of Chinese, Mongolian and Tibetan medicines, the main chemical components of which are N-isobutyl arachidonic acid (trans-2,trans-4) amide, piperidine and a small amount of wicker betel amide, which is clinically used for gastric and stomach pains, diarrhoea, athlete's foot, blindness, caries and dental caries pain, and it has been used for the treatment of coronary heart disease in the Mongolian and Tibetan medicines.
At present, the pharmacological study of the extract of pulse betel found to have a hypolipidemic effect, anti-gastric ulcer, anticonvulsant, sedative, anti-inflammatory and bactericidal, cardiovascular hypoxia, anti-acute myocardial ischemia, anti-arrhythmia, there is a significant reduction in the role of hypertension, and also used for the epigastric and abdominal cold pain, vomiting.
