SKIN CARE: Lemon essential oil (similar to bergamot oil) brightens skin, lightens melanin, and improves oily skin by exfoliating aging cells and boosting collagen production. It also tightens pores, balances oil production, and softens scar tissue.
Fragrance Use: Bergamot oil is also used in the production of perfumes and other cosmetic products such as shampoos and body washes due to its refreshing aroma. It can also be used in room fresheners or candles to provide a pleasant atmosphere.
Uses of Bergamot.
Perfumery: Bergamot oil is a key ingredient in many perfumes, such as 4711 Eau De Cologne, which was launched in the early 18th century.
Flavoring beverages: Different cultures have traditionally flavored beverages with bergamot oil, such as Earl Grey tea, honey grapefruit tea, and sour citrus tea.
Skin care: Bergamot oil can be used to exfoliate aging cells, stimulate collagen production, diminish blemishes, astringent skin, balance oil secretion, and remove acne.
MENTAL RELIEF: The oil also helps relieve headaches and migraines, and is helpful in the treatment of arthritis and rheumatism by neutralizing acids in the body.
FOOT BATH: Adding a few drops of bergamot oil to foot bath water can improve blood circulation and get rid of foot odor and foot fungus.
In addition, Bergamot oil can be used with a variety of other essential oils, such as cedar, lemongrass, sage, geranium, camphor leaf, neroli, lavender, lemon, rosehip, mahogany, citrus and ylang-ylang essential oils. Its refreshing and pleasant aroma makes it an ideal ingredient in a wide range of everyday products and therapies.
