Berberine Hydrochloride raw Materials powder Berberine Hcl
Product Overview:
Berberine hydrochloride, also known as berberine hydrochloride, has long been used in clinical practice as a heat-clearing, detoxifying and antibacterial drug. It is often used to treat bacillary dysentery, acute gastroenteritis, chronic cholecystitis, conjunctivitis, suppurative otitis media and other diseases, all with significant therapeutic effects. Berberine hydrochloride is an isoquinoline alkaloid, which exists in many plants of 10 genera in 4 families such as Berberidaceae. Berberine can precipitate yellow needle-shaped crystals from ether. Berberine is a quaternary ammonium alkaloid, and the solubility of its salts in water is relatively small, for example, the hydrochloride is 1:500 and the sulfate is 1:30.

Berberine Hydrochloride raw Materials powder Berberine Hcl Details
Berberine Hydrochloride powder Usage and Synthesis.
Berberine has antibacterial effects on hemolytic streptococci, Staphylococcus aureus, gonococci, and Shigella dysenteriae, and enhances the phagocytic effect of leukocytes.
Berberine hydrochloride (commonly known as berberine hydrochloride) has been widely used to treat gastroenteritis, bacterial dysentery, etc., and also has certain effects on tuberculosis, scarlet fever, acute tonsillitis and respiratory tract infections.
Uses of Berberine Hydrochloride.
It has a weak inhibitory effect on bacteria (mainly dysentery, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus), and reduces the number of pili on the surface of bacteria, making it difficult for bacteria to attach to human cells, and can alleviate gastric and duodenal peptic ulcers.
Used for nitrate testing; clinically used as an antibacterial drug.
Pharmacological Action of Bulk Berberine Hydrochloride powder.
It has a broad antibacterial spectrum and has an in vitro antibacterial effect on a variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including hemolytic Streptococcus, Staphylococcus aureus, and Vibrio cholerae. It has a strong inhibitory effect on meningococci, Shigella dysenteriae, Salmonella typhi, and Corynebacterium diphtheriae. It has an inhibitory effect at low concentrations and a bactericidal effect at high concentrations. It also has a certain inhibitory effect on influenza virus, amoeba, leptospira, and certain skin fungi.
In vitro experiments have confirmed that berberine can enhance the phagocytic ability of white blood cells and the reticuloendothelial system of the liver. Shigella dysenteriae, hemolytic Streptococcus, Staphylococcus aureus, etc. are very likely to develop resistance to this product. This product has no cross-resistance with penicillin, streptomycin, etc.
Product Methods of Berberine Hydrochloride.
It is obtained by crushing the ten great herbs or three needles, extracting with sulfuric acid, precipitating the crude product with hydrochloric acid, and then refining it.
