Product Overview:
Naringenin is the aglycone of naringin, a dihydroflavonoid compound. It is white needle-shaped crystals (methanol) at room temperature, soluble in ethanol, ether and benzene, and almost insoluble in water. It reacts with magnesium hydrochloride powder to produce cherry red, sodium tetrahydroborate to produce reddish purple, and has a negative molish reaction. In nature, it mainly comes from the flower buds of the cherry blossom (Prunus yedoensis Mate.) of the Rosaceae family and the nucleus and shell of the fruit of the stalk tree (Amacardi-umoccidentale L.) of the Anacardiaceae family. The parent nucleus structure of flavonoid compounds is similar, and most of the components are not ideally fat-soluble and water-soluble, and have low bioavailability.
