Uses of Indigo Carmine.
As a food colouring agent, China's regulations can be used in red and green silk, the maximum use of 0.20g/kg; in fruit juice (flavour) drinks, carbonated beverages, prepared wines, confectionery, pastries on the coloured, dyed cherries canned (Department of decorative), plums, the maximum use of 0.10g/kg; in the maximum use of 0.01g/kg in the dipping of small vegetables.
Food blue pigment. Generally used for colour mixing. Because of its instability, low fastness, weak colouring, the most suitable for dark tones.
