Sodium Molybdate Raw Materials powder Sodium Molybdate
Product Overview:
Sodium molybdate is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula Na2MoO4, which is a white rhombic crystal. It can be produced by oxidising and roasting molybdenum concentrate to generate molybdenum trioxide, and leaching it with liquid alkali to generate sodium molybdate solution, which can be produced after filtration, concentration, cooling, centrifugation and drying.

Sodium Molybdate Raw Materials powder Sodium Molybdate Details
Sodium Molybdate Powder Usage and Synthesis.
The most important molybdenum ore for the manufacture of raw materials for molybdate is molybdenite (the main component is MoS2). Industrial production method is the raw material molybdenite crushed, loaded into the reflecting furnace for roasting, you can get molybdenum trioxide, leaching with liquid alkali to generate sodium molybdate solution, and then after filtration, concentration, cooling, centrifugation, drying can be produced. Chemical stability of sodium molybdate: stable in closed containers at room temperature temperature under normal storage and handling conditions.
Uses of Sodium Molybdate.
Sodium molybdate is used in the manufacture of alkaloids, inks, fertilisers, precipitants for molybdenum red pigments and sunlight-resistant pigments, catalysts, molybdenum salts, as well as in the manufacture of flame retardants and metal inhibitors for non-polluting chilled-water systems, and as a galvanising and abrasive agent and a chemical reagent.
Molybdate has low toxicity and low level of environmental pollution, it is a new type of water treatment agent with more applications. In order to get a better retardation effect, molybdate is often used in combination with polyphosphate, gluconate, zinc salt, benzotriazole, which not only reduces the amount of molybdate, but also improves the effect of corrosion inhibition, and the amount of molybdate after the combination of molybdenum acid salt from 200-500mg/L down to 4-6mg/L. Molybdate film-forming process, there must be the presence of dissolved oxygen without the need for calcium ions (or other divalent metal ions).
Molybdate is thermally stable and can be used in circulating water systems with high heat flow density and localised overheating. Sodium molybdate can be used in the manufacture of alkaloids, inks, fertilisers, precipitants for molybdenum red pigments and sunlight-resistant pigments, catalysts, molybdenum salts, as well as in the manufacture of flame retardants and metal inhibitors for non-polluting chilled water systems, and as a galvanising, abrasive and chemical reagent.

Pharmacological action of Sodium Molybdate.
Product Method of Bulk Sodium Molybdate Powder.
In the laboratory it can be obtained by melting a mixture of molybdenum trioxide and sodium carbonate. Industrially, the raw material molybdenite (the main component of MoS2) is oxidised and roasted to make crude molybdenum oxide, which is washed with nitric acid to remove impurities, then dissolved in aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, heated and concentrated to obtain Na2MoO4-2H2O, sodium molybdate dihydrate, which can be made anhydrous when heated to 100 °C.
