Pharmaceutical raw materials Powder Calcitriol
Product Overview:
Dihydroxycholecalciferol is one of the most active metabolites of vitamin 1α, 25-D3. This metabolite is usually formed in the kidney. In recent years, it has been found that caltriol can also be produced outside the kidney, and it has been confirmed that 1α hydroxylase can produce caltriol in placenta, monocytes, macrophages, tumor cell supernatant, sarcoidosis patients' lymph nodes and keratin cells. The precursor of calcitriol is 25-hydroxycholecalciferol (alfacalciferol). Dihydroxycholecalciferol can promote the absorption of calcium in small intestine and regulate the transport of inorganic salts in bone.

Pharmaceutical raw materials Powder Calcitriol Details
Calcitriol Powder Usage and Synthesis.
It is suitable for renal dystrophy, hypoparathyroidism, vitamin D-dependent rickets and vitamin D-resistant rickets in patients with chronic renal failure.
Uses and functions of Calcitriol.
Calcitriol, also known as calcitriol, is an active form of vitamin D and a hormone in the body. It plays an important role in regulating the concentration of blood calcium and blood phosphorus by increasing the absorption of calcium ions in the intestine and increasing the release of calcium in the bone to increase the blood calcium level. This study was first reported by MichaelF.Holick in 1971.
Calcitriol works in many cases by binding to the vitamin D receptor (VDR). For example, receptors in the cytoplasm of small intestinal epithelial cells that bind to calcitriol form ligand-receptor complexes that transfer to the nucleus as transcription factors that promote the expression of genes encoding calcitriol. Increased calcitriol causes cells to actively transport more calcium ions. Thus increase the calcium ion absorption level.
Absorption of calcium ions at the same time in order to maintain electrical neutrality also need to transport anions, mainly to absorb inorganic phosphate ions, so calcium triol also promotes the absorption of phosphorus. Clinically, this drug can be used to treat hypocalcemia, hypoparathyroidism (adult), osteomalacia, rickets (infant), chronic kidney disease, renal bone disease, osteoporosis, and prevent osteoporosis caused by glucocorticoid.
