Supply vitamin Betaine Raw Materials powder
Product Overview:
Betaine is a natural compound, quaternary ammonium alkaloid, this substance is named because it was originally extracted from sugar beets, it has been used as a feed additive for more than 50 years. Because of its important role in animal protein and fat metabolism, it has been widely used. When added to chicken feed, it can improve the carcass quality and breast muscle mass of broilers. Improve the palatability and utilization rate of food. Increasing feed intake and increasing daily gain are the main attractant ingredients of aquatic food

Betaine of Usage and Synthesis.
Betaine is a quaternary ammonium alkaloid. Anhydrous betaine is a new fine chemical, which can be widely used in food, medicine, daily chemical, printing and dyeing, chemical and other fields. Anhydrous betaine is an efficient and high quality nutrient additive. Pharmaceutical grade betaine can be used in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, juice industry, as well as dental materials, in addition to betaine can also be used in the fermentation industry. Anhydrous betaine has the functions of brightening eyesight, anti-fatty liver, protecting kidney, treating atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases, and is used in health food. Anhydrous betaine is widely used in food and beverage industry because of its moderate taste and colorless. Anhydrous betaine is used for weight loss and beauty food. Betaine is used as an additive in daily chemical products.
Uses of Betaine.
The addition of betaine to feed has the effect of protecting the vitamins in feed, feed can withstand high temperature, long storage period, can greatly improve the utilization rate of feed, but also reduce the cost. Adding 0.05% betaine to chicken feed can replace 0.1% methionine; The addition of betaine to the bait can induce the feeding of fish and shrimp, and can be widely used as the Penghua agent of aquatic products. Betaine is added to pig feed, pigs love to eat, and the lean meat rate is increased. 1kg of betaine is equivalent to 3.5kg of methionine. The ability of betaine to provide methyl is 1.2 times that of choline chloride, 3.8 times that of methionine, and the feeding effect is very significant. Feed grade anhydrous betaine can be used as feed additive, is a natural and efficient methyl donor, can partially replace methionine and choline chloride, reduce feed cost, reduce pig backfat, improve lean meat rate and carcass quality.
Pharmacological action of Betaine.
Product method of Bulk Betaine Powder.
(1) Extraction method. The mother liquor of beet sugar production contains 12%-15% betaine, which can be directly recycled. Heat 300 parts of mother liquor to 50℃, add 80 parts of calcium chloride, stir for a certain time, and then filter while hot. The filtrate was acidified with hydrochloric acid and cooled to 20-30℃ for crystallization. About 30 parts of betaine were obtained by separation and drying.
(2) Synthesis method. It was obtained by quaternizing chloroacetic acid with trimethylamine. 195 parts of 48.6% chloroacetic acid aqueous solution were neutralized into sodium chloroacetic acid solution with 16% sodium hydroxide solution, and then mixed with 360 parts of 16.4% trimethylamine solution, and aerated at 50℃ for 1 hour and at 80℃ for another 1 hour. The reactants were diluted and adsorbed by ionic resin (Dowex-50-8), and the betaine solution was eluted by ammonia. After vacuum concentration and crystallization, the finished product is obtained.
