HRK Supply Mycophenolate Mofetil raw Materials powder
Product Overview:
Mycophenol morpheate, also known as mycophenolate ester (MMF), trade name Cellcept, developed by Syntex Company in the United States, is a semi-synthetic derivative of mycophenolic acid (MPA) isolated from the ferment of mold Penicillinglaucum. Mycophenolate is a reversible cell inhibitor, in fact, it has been clinically used for more than 10 years, mainly for the treatment of psoriasis. In the late 1980s, animal experiments on organ transplantation proved that it could significantly prolong the survival time of kidney, heart and islet allografts in rodents and dogs. Sollinger et al. successfully applied MMF to the anti-rejection treatment of kidney transplantation for the first time, and the therapeutic effect was remarkable. In 1995, the FDA approved its official registration under the trade name Cellcept, thus adding a new effective immunosuppressant for the prevention and treatment of rejection to the clinical application.

HRK Supply Mycophenolate Mofetil raw Materials powder Details
Mycophenolate Mofetil Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Morpholine ethyl mycophenolate is an immunosuppressant used in organ transplantation and is also used to treat autoimmune myasthenia gravis (MG).
Uses of Mycophenolate Mofetil.
It is mainly used to prevent allogeneic organ rejection. It is mainly used for kidney transplantation, but also for heart and liver transplantation, especially for refractory rejection after transplantation. It can be used simultaneously with cyclosporine and corticosteroids. It can also be used in rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, primary glomerulonephritis, psoriasis and other autoimmune diseases. Oral: Kidney transplantation: the initial dose is 2 to 3mg/kg per day, and the maintenance dose is 1 to 2mg/kg per day, divided into 2 to 3 times. Can be adjusted according to the condition.
In vitro study of Mycophenolate Mofetil.
Mycophenolatemofetil is an ester prodrug of mycophenolic acid (MPA), an active immunosuppressive agent. The latter showed non-competitive, selective and reversible inhibitory activity against type I/II hypoxylglycinate dehydrogenase with IC50 of 39nM and 27nM, respectively. In addition, MPA also produced concentration-dependent inhibition of CONA-stimulated T cell proliferation, LPS-stimulated B cell proliferation, and isoantigen-specific T cell proliferation with IC50 of 100nM, 120nM, and 51nM, respectively. Mycophenolatemofetil induced strong apoptosis of microglia cultures at a high concentration of 10μg/mL and increased the number of activated caspase-3 immunoreactive apoptotic cells. In addition, Mycophenolatemofetil(1μg/mL) strongly inhibited the proliferation of microglia and astrocytes. A recent study showed that Mycophenolatemofetil time-dependent significantly reduced the degree of neuronal cell death in organotype hippocampal section cultures after neuronal injury.
