Pharmaceuticals Gamithromycin Raw Materials powder
Product Overview:
Gamithromycin is a new semi-synthetic macrolide (Marolides) animal antibiotic, which is one of the representative drugs of the second generation of macrolide antibiotics developed by the French Merial company, and plays a role in bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial RNA-dependent proteins. Gamamycin has high antibacterial activity against Mantella haemolyticus, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma bovis, which cause bovine respiratory disease (BRD). It has broad antibacterial spectrum, strong antibacterial activity, fast absorption, wide distribution in the body, low residue in the body, and high safety, and is widely used in foreign countries in the clinical treatment of bovine respiratory diseases caused by bacterial pathogens such as Pasteurella haemolyticus, Pasteurella haemorrhaticus, histophilia.

Pharmaceuticals Gamithromycin Raw Materials powder Details
Gamithromycin powder Usage and Synthesis.
Pharmacokinetic studies in cattle, sheep, pigs, broilers, horses and other animals show that after subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, the drug is quickly absorbed, widely distributed, has a special affinity for lung tissue, bioavailability is nearly 100%, the effective drug concentration is maintained for a long time, and the elimination is slow. The plasma protein binding rates of gamimycin were 26.0%, 23.1%, 21.8% and 21.5% in cattle, pig, rat and dog, respectively. The metabolites in different animals are not the same, but the metabolic pathways in rats, dogs and cattle are similar, and the primary drug is excreted through feces, followed by urine. The effective concentration in bovine lung epithelial cell lining fluid (PELF), bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) cells and lung tissue was maintained for 7 (PELF) ~ 15 days. On day 1, 5, 10 and 15 after gamamycin administration, the ratio of concentrations in lung tissue to plasma was 265, 410, 329 and 247, respectively. The AUC in lung was 194 times higher than that in plasma, and the half-life in lung tissue was up to 90.4h.
Uses of Gamithromycin powder.
It is mainly used to prevent and treat respiratory diseases of non-lactating cattle caused by pathogenic bacteria such as Mantella hemolyticus, Pasteurella and histophila.
1. Bovine applications for the treatment of bovine respiratory diseases (BRD) caused by sensitive bacteria.
2. The application of sheep is used to control hoof rot in sheep and to treat the sudden lameness of sheep caused by streptobacterin.
Pharmacological action of Gamithromycin.
Like other macrolide antibiotics, gamimycin inhibits peptide chain extension by binding to the 50S subunit of the ribosomes of sensitive bacteria, affecting the synthesis of bacterial proteins, thus playing a antibacterial and bactericidal role. Gamimycin mainly acts on pathogenic bacteria such as Mantella hemolyticus, Pasteurella multocida and histoma somnophila which cause respiratory diseases in cattle. In addition, Mycoplasma filiformis, Streptococcus equi epizoosis, Rhodococcus equi resistant to macrolides and sensitive to macrolides, mycoplasma suis and actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, which are the pathogens of bovine infectious pleuropneumonia, have good antibacterial activity in vitro. Gamimycin has good bacteriostasis and bactericidal effects on the main pathogens causing respiratory diseases in cattle
