    Herbs perennial, 40-120 cm tall, plants greyish white. Roots plump. Stem erect, angled, hollow, branches oblique and thick at apex, sparsely hirsute or sericeous, rarely glabrous. Basal and lower stem leaves imparipinnately divided to entire, 5-11 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, apex lobes larger, lateral lobes triangular, base tapering into a winged petiole; stem leaves sessile, leaf blades attenuate, a few, lanceolate-ovate to lanceolate, upper leaves small, entire, all leaves sparsely hirsute or sericeous beneath.
