Pharmaceutical raw material Dinitolmide CAS 148-01-6
Product Overview:
Dinitropamide is a nitroanilide compound, which is a kind of anticoccidial drug with both preventive and therapeutic effects. It is effective against various types of Eimeria in chickens, especially against Eimeria toxigena and Eimeria tenderis. Mainly inhibit the first generation of schizonts, the peak period of action in the second asexual reproduction of coccidia schizonts proliferation stage (i.e., the third day after infection), at the same time on the oocysts of the ascospores formation also has a role in the inhibition of killing.

Dinitolmide Usage and Synthesis.
Dinitropamide is a nitroanilide compound, which is an anti-coccidial drug with both preventive and therapeutic effects. It is effective against various types of Eimeria in chickens, especially against Eimeria toxigena and Eimeria tenderis.
It mainly inhibits the 1st generation of schizonts, and the peak of action is in the proliferation stage of schizonts in the 2nd asexual reproduction stage of coccidia (i.e., the 3rd day after infection), and it also has the effect of inhibiting the formation of ascospores in oocysts.
Coccidia can develop resistance to the product, but the rate of development is slow and does not affect the body's ability to develop immunity to coccidia.
The therapeutic amount of chicken development, egg production and other no obvious adverse effects. However, the long-term use of dinitropamide in high concentrations will cause drug residues, which is potentially harmful to human health.
China's Ministry of Agriculture Bulletin No. 235 stipulates that the maximum residue limit of dinitrotoluamide in terms of the total amount of proximate and metabolite is 3000 and 6000ug/kg in chicken meat and chicken liver, respectively.
Uses and functions of Dinitolmide.
Against coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys. It is especially effective against the most pathogenic Eimeria toxocara in the small intestine, but is slightly less effective against Eimeria hepatica. It also has excellent effect on turkey small intestine coccidia, and can be used continuously until 16 weeks of age.
As an anti-coccidiostat, it is effective in the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in livestock and poultry. It is effective in dosage, without any side effects, non-toxicity, stable performance, and does not decompose when added to feed.
In addition to preventing and controlling coccidiosis, it can also promote the weight growth of poultry (weight gain rate of 13.8%) and improve the feed utilisation rate. After dissolved in water, this product has a food-inducing aroma for anorexic sick chickens, and the effect of medication is excellent.
Usage and dosage: 62g of this product can be mixed in 1t of feed for chickens and other poultry, livestock feeding, halving the amount of prevention; 4g of this product dissolved in 10kg of water for chickens and other poultry, livestock drinking, halving the amount of prevention; can be used in chicken feed, the maximum dosage of 62.0g/t, prohibited during egg-laying period, the suspension of the drug for 3 days.
Precautionary Note of Dinitolmide.
1. The size of dinitrotoluamide powder is the main factor affecting the anti-coccidial effect, and it should be a very fine powder for clinical application.
2. This product often leads to recurrence of coccidiosis after 5-6 days of withdrawal, so it should be used continuously.
3. Broilers should take 3 days off.
4. If the amount added in feed exceeds 250 mg/kg, it can inhibit the weight gain of chicks if fed continuously for more than 15 days.
5. Prohibited during egg-laying period of laying hens.
Product Method of Bulk Dinitolmide.
Using o-toluic acid as raw material, 3,5-dinitro-o-toluic acid was obtained by nitrification, and then the product was obtained by chlorination with dichlorosulfoxide and ammonia amination.
