Antibacterial apis Metronidazole Powder
Product Overview:
Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole antibiotic, also known as methotrexate, metronidazole, metronidazole, metronidazole, methotrexate, has a killing effect on anaerobic microorganisms, and its metabolites generated in the human body when the reduction of the anaerobic bacterial effect, inhibit bacterial DNA synthesis, thereby interfering with bacterial growth, reproduction, and ultimately lead to the death of the bacterium, the anti anaerobic bacterial Pu including: Anaerobic bacterium fragile mimic bacillus, Clostridium (due to the morphology of the bacterium body at both ends of the pointed shape of a shuttle and so called), Tetanus bacillus, Digestive Cocci, Digestive Streptococci, Giardia Flagellate bacteria.

Antibacterial apis Metronidazole Powder Details
Metronidazole Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole antibiotic, also known as methotrexate, metronidazole, metronidazole, methotrexate, methotrexate, kills anaerobic microorganisms, and the metabolites it generates when it is reduced in the human body also have an anaerobic effect, inhibiting bacterial DNA synthesis, thus interfering with bacterial growth, reproduction, and ultimately bacterial death, anti-anaerobic bacterial Pu including: anaerobic bacterial bacteria fragile mimic bacillus, clostridium difficile (due to the Clostridium fragilis, Clostridium perfringens (so named because of the shape of the bacterium's body, which is pointed at both ends), Tetanus bacillus, Digestive Cocci, Digestive Streptococci, and Giardia Flagellates.
It was initially used for the treatment of vaginal trichomoniasis with very significant clinical results. Later it was found that metronidazole can also kill anaerobic bacteria that cause oral infections, and in 1978 it was identified by the World Health Organisation as a potent drug against anaerobic infections, and is widely used in the prevention and treatment of oral anaerobic infections.
In hospitals, it is also frequently used for the prevention and treatment of respiratory, digestive, abdominal and pelvic infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, skin, soft tissue and bone and joint infections, cardiomyopathy, septicaemia and brain treatment.
Uses and functions of Metronidazole.
Metronidazole was first found to be a very effective treatment for anaerobic infections in 1962 and was later classified as the drug of choice for anaerobic infections.Clinical Applications of Metronidazole:
Anti-vaginal Trichomonas.
Metronidazole is the world's current treatment of trichomoniasis, oral 10mg/kg will be able to treat Trichomonas vaginalis, but not so much as to affect the growth of normal vaginal flora.
Anti-amoebic infections.
Amebiasis, both internal and external to the intestinal tract, can be treated with metronidazole, which is the drug of choice for anti-amoebic infections.
Prevention of post-surgical infections.
Prophylactic use of metronidazole before and after surgery can significantly reduce the rate of wound infection. It is mainly used as an anti-infection for appendectomy, recto-colonic surgery, and abdominal infections.
Treatment of peptic ulcers.
Metronidazole protects the mucosa and promotes mucosal regeneration. Gastric and duodenal ulcers using metronidazole 1g/day, divided into 3 times, can achieve the ideal cure rate and ulcer healing rate.
Treatment of prolonged cough with abscess caused by bronchopneumonia infection.
Metronidazole can rapidly control the infection and improve the conscious symptoms.
Hyperlipidaemia. Metronidazole has obvious hypolipidemic effect, 0.2-0.4g 3 times a day for 4 weeks.
Treatment of tetanus. Metronidazole has been described in the literature to be very effective in the treatment of tetanus, even higher than penicillin.
The application of metronidazole is accompanied by debridement, injection of antitoxin, and intravenous rehydration.
It is acknowledged that 1.6-2.6g per day is taken orally in 3-4 doses; children are given 50mg per kg per day for 1-2 consecutive courses.
Oral diseases. Periodontitis, gingivitis, periodontal abscess, upper frontal sinusitis, tonsillitis and so on. Usage is 3 times a day, each time 0.2-0.8g, a week of continuous use for a course of treatment.
Pharmacological Effect of Metronidazole.
Nitro of metronidazole, in the anaerobic environment by anaerobic bacteria reduced to an active product with cytotoxicity, inhibited the DNA synthesis of sensitive bacteria, so that the bacterial death and show anti-anaerobic effect, most anaerobic bacteria with strong antibacterial effect, but for aerobic bacteria and parthenogenetic anaerobes is ineffective.
It is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, such as respiratory tract, digestive tract, abdominal and pelvic pus infections, infections of soft tissues of the skin, bone and bone joints, and endocarditis, septicaemia and meningitis caused by Mycobacterium fragileis, and it is also widely used for the prevention and treatment of anaerobic infections of the oral cavity.
Production method of Bulk Metronidazole Powder.
Obtained by addition of 2-methyl-5-nitroimidazole (see 25010) to ethylene oxide. Dissolve 2-methyl-5-nitroimidazole in formic acid, add ethylene oxide one at a time at 30-40°C and add sulphuric acid in between additions. After adding, the reaction is 1h.
Recover formic acid under reduced pressure, add water to dissolve and cool to 10 ℃, filter. The filtrate was adjusted to pH=10 with sodium hydroxide solution, left to cool, filtered, and washed with water to nearly medium alteration. Recrystallised with water. Activated carbon decolourisation, that is, to obtain metronidazole.
