Pharmacological Effect of Pine Bark P.e powder.
1. Lipid-lowering effect Resveratrol and resveratrol glycosides have obvious effects on lowering serum cholesterol and triglycerides.
2. Hepatoprotective and choleretic effects Resveratrol Glycosides have a strong inhibitory effect on lipid peroxidation, thus reducing the accumulation of lipid peroxides in the liver and alleviating liver damage.
3.Effects on cardiovascular system Resveratrol glycosides can dilate blood vessels, inhibit platelet aggregation, improve microcirculation, protect the vascular endothelium, which can reduce blood pressure; sclerocarpine crystals can significantly inhibit ADP, AA and Ca2+-induced platelet aggregation in rabbits.
