Oxymatrine materials Oxymatrine Powder
Product Overview:
Oxidised Picrasidine is an alkaloid extracted and isolated from Picrasidine, a plant of the genus Sophora, family Leguminosae, with oxidised Picrasidine as the main alkaloid and a small amount of oxidised Sophora Fructus. It has the functions of clearing heat and dampness, diuretic and detoxification, improving hepatitis symptoms and signs, reducing yellowing and lowering enzyme, inhibiting the replication of hepatitis B virus, inducing endogenous interferon, protecting hepatocytes, improving liver function, resisting hepatic fibrosis, elevating leukocytes and anti-tumour effects.

Oxymatrine materials Oxymatrine Powder Details
Oxymatrine Powder Usage and Synthesis.
Oxidised Picrasidine is mainly indicated for the treatment of chronic viral hepatitis B, as well as low white blood cells caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy of tumours and leucopenia due to other causes.
Picrasidine oxide has been used in the western market for 25 years in the form of capsules and tablets.
Currently, there are many products of Picrasidine oxide available in the market, such as Picrasidine mother liquor, Picrasidine aqueous solution, Picrasidine oxide, etc.
Uses of Oxymatrine.
Picrasin is used in medicine, pesticide, veterinary medicine and so on. Ginsenosides have anti-tumour, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oedema, diuretic and reduce leucopenia caused by cyclophosphamide.
In the anti-tumour aspect, oxidized Picrasidine has the effect of lowering the enzyme of glutamic-propanic transaminase. In combining with thymopeptide in treating CHB, it has the effect of regulating the immune state and improving liver function, and it has significant curative effect on the recovery of liver function, raising albumin, lowering globulin, and elevating leukocytes.
It has a protective effect on liver failure and has no obvious adverse reactions and toxic side effects on kidney.
Pharmacological Effect of Oxymatrine.
It has diuretic, antipathogen and immune effects, and it has been found that oxidised ginseng alkaloids have inhibitory effects on the proliferation of vascular endothelial cells induced by lung cancer and gastric cancer cells.
Picrasidine oxide has anti-hepatitis B virus effect, can reduce the content of HBsAg and HBcAg in the liver of hepatitis B virus transgenic mice, and it has the same effect on both, without selective effect, Picrasidine oxide is a strong immunosuppressant.
Oxymatrine is a strong immunosuppressant, which can inhibit the release of many kinds of inflammatory factors and has a clear anti-inflammatory effect, and it also has a strong inhibitory effect on IL-2-induced tumour-killing activity of LAK cells, so it is unlikely that oxymatrine can exert its anti-hepatitis B virus effect through IL-2 and other cytokines.
In vitro studies of Bulk Oxymatrine Powder.
Oxymatrine is a quinazoline alkaloid extracted from the root of Ginseng and is used for the treatment of viral hepatitis, cancer, viral myocarditis, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, and skin disorders (e.g., vaginitis, psoriasis, and eczema).
Oxymatrine protects mice from GalN/LPS-induced fulminant hepatitis and blocks apoptosis and subsequent necrosis of hepatocytes by down-regulating serum tumour necrosis factor alpha production and Fas and Fas ligand expression in the liver.
Oxymatrine also exhibited in vitro anti-hepatitis B virus effects by reducing HBsAg and HBcAg levels in the livers of transgenic mice.
