(1) Continuous method of preparing choline chloride solution of trimethylamine hydrochloride and a certain amount of ethylene oxide are pumped into the reactor continuously, and the residence time of the reactants in the reactor is 1-1.5 h. The reaction is carried out under stirring, and the products are led out continuously so that the liquid level in the reactor is kept stable. The crude product of choline chloride led out from the reactor goes into the vapor extraction tower, and 60-80% of liquid product of choline chloride is obtained from the bottom of the tower.

(2) Trimethylamine hydrochloride is reacted with ethylene oxide, and then organic acid is added to neutralize and concentrate to produce choline chloride.

(3) Choline chloride is produced by reacting chloroethanol with trimethylamine.
